It was a rainy night. The lightning flashed through the curtains on the window across the room every 10 seconds or so and the rain fell lightly against the window. She lied in bed and sighed, the sound of thunder made her happy. She loved the rain. I turned off the light above the sink in our small dorm room. She was lying in her bed starring at the celling.       She spent the whole night on her phone. This was supposed to be the best night of the year but no, it sucked. The beginning of the wonderful night started with her begging me to sit by her while we were at the restaurant, then things made a turn downhill.          I was kind of nervous because this was going to be the first mission I get to go on with the Delta Force. My commanding officer goes by the name Sandman and his right hand man goes by the name Grinch.
