It was a rainy night. The lightning flashed through the curtains on the window across the room every 10 seconds or so and the rain fell lightly against the window. She lied in bed and sighed, the sound of thunder made her happy. She loved the rain. I turned off the light above the sink in our small dorm room. She was lying in her bed starring at the celling. I crawled in my bed and pushed my blankets down to my feet. It was hot in that little room. I lied on my back too and watched the lightning flash shadows on the celling. I turned my head to face her and caught a glimpse of her smiling at the celling just before I fell asleep.

Tired of Wanting and Waiting
She spent the whole night on her phone. This was supposed to be the best night of the year but no, it sucked. The beginning of the wonderful night started with her begging me to sit by her while we were at the restaurant, then things made a turn downhill. I knew she was into me, I've know this for a long time now but she didn't know I had caught on. I saw out of the corner of my eye that she started a group text and was trying to look busy. I could tell she was getting a bit nervous by me. Later on that night when we when playing games with our friends, her face was buried in her phone. I laid down next to her but she didn't look up onc
I was kind of nervous because this was going to be the first mission I get to go on with the Delta Force. My commanding officer goes by the name Sandman and his right hand man goes by the name Grinch. Here in the Delta Force we all go by code names and mine is Frost, I guess because I like the cold so much. So the first time I ever met Sandman was at one of the barracks. He walked in my room with my pervious CO and said I was being transferred to the Delta Force. The first moment I saw him I knew I was going to like him but, when he and Grinch were together I got a weird vibe off them. Almost like there was more to them than just bei

It was about 1am and the sound of thunder was piercing my ears. I sat up on the couch and wrapped the blankets around me. For some reason I just couldn't get comfortable and fall back asleep. I just kept thinking about my one (well two) night stand with Ghost and how Soap found out. Closing my eyes, I laid back down on the couch and I could still see and hear Soap yelling at Ghost, then they got into a fist fight and after a few punches and bruises, the pissed off captain walked out the door, slamming it behind him. Ghost however, went back into the bedroom and slammed the door shut. So I was stuck all alone watching what

A few days had passed and I still haven't told Ghost yet about what had happened with me and Soap. I didn't know if I should tell him or not. Ghost and Soap went out to dinner tonight but I told them I wanted to stay home and I wasn't that hungry. I sat down on the recliner and turned on the TV. For some reason I just couldn't get Soap out of my mind and I didn't know if I was falling for him or not. I sat there for an hour or so trying to decide if I should tell him and was trying to figure out my true feelings. I must have fallen asleep cause when I woke up I herd Soap and Ghost argui

"Ghost, we'll find him I promise we will, please Ghost look at me." I was standing in the doorway of Ghost and Soap's bedroom starring down at Ghost laying curled up in a ball, who had been up all night crying. Soap was still missing and almost a week had past. I felt terrible like for some reason this was all my fault, and it was. Ghost hadn't said much to me since that morning we herd about Soap's disappearance and I just couldn't shake the thought of running away myself. Maybe it would help me e
